Fun throwback to Tactics Ogre without the need for annoying story or exploring aspects. Instead, we get a basic roguelite structure with the chance to unlock characters and collect loot that will carryover for future runs. The mobs are pretty varied and the landscape encourages tactical play (with terrain features, explodable barrels, time limited rewards to keep you from turtling, etc.). So far I'm having fun!

The game can be fairly fun but also fairly difficult. Lots of the interesting/fun skills within the game have been nerfed in the name of 'balancing' within weeks of release. Anything that work well is typically nerfed and the developer does not take to criticism well. Leaves me with mixed emotions about the game.
