As a fan of Studio Pixel's other works, this was a game that I was excited for in the months leading up to its sequel. Getting to play it, a lot of things stayed true to the quality of Studio Pixel's other games. The pixel art and OST are both phenomenal, and the game is able to convey complex thoughts with minimalistic output. It feels like a movie, for sure. I don't mind that at all. I think the topics that this story covers are important for people to discuss and learn about, because coping with some of this in reality is already difficult enough as-is.

I couldn't get into the story at all. The game felt so cold and dry that it couldn't make me care about any of the characters... Probably as a result of that, it also felt way longer than it should have been, with some cutscenes dragging on and on. Visually, some backgrounds look nice and the few CG are well drawn. Gameplay and music didn't leave much of an impression.
