I finished the game in about 4 hours, and it got a bit repetitive toward to end - it could use more randomized features or more boss fights (at least 1 per location). Vermitron has a good concept to start with, it combines tower-defense with twin-stick combat, but some of the mechanics are a bit questionable. I can't give this a thumbs up. The gameplay wasn't really the problem, it was fun. I'm willing to say that I enjoyed it, but the main problem with it, is that it was extremely short. Maybe if it had some variety in its objectives, or changing the main one every so often, or the very simple solution of making more floors.
