Dragon's lair games are essentially cartoons that you push buttons to watch. The whole game is a quick time event. From the point where the cartoon starts your job is to press buttons that correspond with the onscreen prompts. The longer you keep this going the more the movie will play without interruption. If you make a mistake you'll see a death animation typically of your character getting eaten or something and…

It's a little buggy compared to the relatively stable PS3 port I'm used to, but I'm glad I am finally able to play this game again. It's definitely worth it when it goes on sale if you have a lot of nostalgia for this game. Hopefully one day ill be able to beat this without any input guide :3c

So I ran into the bug other people talk about - you get into the falling platform scene, and the controls won't work- you fall all the way to the bottom and die. But then, the scene restarts showing Dirk escaping....then the next scene is the falling platform, and the controls won't work. It loops until you run out of lives. It's 2026... could someone please patch this?
