Want to play a game as a female vampire who has been contracted by a secrete society to kill Nazis in order to prevent them from collecting ancient artifacts that could bring about the end of the world. Then get this game. Want gratuitous violence? Check Entertaining gameplay and dialog? Check Power fantasy? What a horrendous, horrible, trash game... Still enjoyed a lot especially the gore being this advanced for 2002 game, blood sucking and covering yourself with the body you are sucking off. There are few vampire games so I will ignore all 2000ness and being next Max Payne wanna be weak hack n slash game. Something I commonly hear floating around in the BloodRayne community is to engage only if you're willing to become a fan. This notion mainly applies to the second game, as many parts of it aren't pleasing to them as this game, but I'd like to comment on the first game myself. I like the idea of a vampiress protagonist.
