I played this a lot on original retail version, and later on the GOG version. And still love second Empire Earth more than entire Age of Empires series - for amazing soundtrack and possibility to bomb primitive cavemens with nuclear weapons in real time (not turn-based) mode.

So far the best strategy game made ever, or for the the time when it was published. Playing constantly since childhood and I presume that this title will never get boring/replaced. Forever EE2

I've never seen such an unbalanced game in my life. The AI is terrible for both the player and the enemy. The campaign is a complete pain. There's no balance in any scenario—you always start with low-level units and have to fight an empire with a fully developed army. It feels unfair rather than challenging. Overall, it's a very frustrating experience and a disappointing game.
