I've enjoyed the game and finished it a few times. The gameplay at the start is quite different than once you get some skills. It's actually hardest at the start and I think many people might be turned off by the game due to the high initial difficulty. I've seen a wide variety of reviews for this game....and they all don't really do the game justice. This is a very unique spin on a Roguelike and I love it! This is a simple mindless action game where you are stuck in a loop. You go as far as you can, die and start over. You're a spirit that just keeps taking over new bodies to keep fighting.
