There is no actual substance to this game. All the actual thought in the development process seems to have gone into lore and visual style. Very Morrowind-like, jank and all. This will absolutely scratch that itch if that's what you're looking for. The world is interesting and I loved going off the beaten path looking for secrets. Only downside for me was that the difficulty was definitely on the too easy side; combat is very simple and most of the spells and equipment you find do little to change up your play style or skill set.
