so much of citizen sleeper is fixed on the ephemeral. your body is failing. without proper support, you will collapse. your stomach is never full. and there is never enough time. when you work you make too little, when you eat you eat too little, when you are lucky (and it feels like your luck is running out!) you dose stabilizer. and still, erlin's eye spins in the inky black, now creaking, now rusting with…

Actually this game while short was fairly gripping. I enjoyed the art as well as the gameplay loop with the dice and trying to remain in good condition. I even ended up buying the sequel. It was a good game to play on the steam deck, quite enjoyable! if you can grab it on sale i'd say it's a must buy I believe I bought my copy for somewhere around $2

Story wise, you don't get much opportunity to form an attachment to any of the characters and as soon as intrigue is built up in a sub plot, it is deflated in the next beat. Thematically blunt. For gameplay, the mechanical tension begins to evaporate after about an hour and it gets monotonous fast. Derivative of Disco Elysium with none of the things that made it good, and no legs of its own. Good background music.
