When Steam asked if I would recommend this game, I selected yes. Because I have enjoyed my time with it. But I would people newly purchasing this game to proceed with caution. The developers abandoned this game less than a year after release. The game feels good to play but unfinished. The gameplay loop came get old fast. It's a great game to get on sale and have a couple of obsessive gameplay sessions with. But…

edit: Have never felt so let down by a game before. This game had SUCH A STRONG PREMISE, and starts out and immediately draws you in, minus the obnoxious tutorial that confuses you more than it helps. For a minute, it felt like a more accessible crusader kings crossed with the Sims. I GENUINELY loved this game, and then it genuinely faceplanted. The game just becomes nothing.
