Suit for Hire is a great example of making the most of a solid and satisfying moment-to-moment gameplay loop. The combat is very simple on paper, but feels better than many high-budget action games in recent times. The developers clearly spent a lot of time refining every aspect of the combat to make it consistent and nearly bug-free, which is a requirement considering it is the main selling point, and it pays off.…

Absolutely rotten of me for never leaving a review. Though I've only had one sitting with the game, it bears my personal category of "I can't play this right now or I won't put it down" (Big no no mid-semester). Gameplay felt slick, crunchy, and punchy.

Suit for Hire is a mixed bag. I was pulled in my by the promise of a John Wick style-game from YouTubers. The game does have its Wick moments, and when those happen they are really good, this is due to strong gunplay. However the health system is way too unforgiving, which leads to random difficulty spikes. The enemy AI is also really dumb, to the point where at one point an environmental hazard killed them. However…
