I knew about this classic indie game since the days of World of Goo, Terraria or VVVVVV but I've never bothered to get it until recently. The idea of time manipulation for a puzzle platforming game is good on paper and while I liked some of the gimmicks unique to a specific world some of them were obtuse and real head-scratchers. I don't know why I never wrote a review for Braid, I played this game when it came out, like 17 years ago. It's still one of the best of its genre and probably one of top 100 games ever. The creativity, the atmosphere, the story, have never ever been surpasses in another platformer, as of 2026. Do yourself a favor and play it.
