I'm gonna be real, I came SO CLOSE to tapping out on this game due to the initial difficulty and - considering the length and complexity of its levels - the roguelike nature of it. But once you get the knack for its mechanics and how to use/abuse the special ability shots, the challenge really just boils down to a hearty bowl of patience and strategy, and the game honestly is a lot of fun as a result. I've only got .6 hours so my opinion doesn't mean much, but there's a reason for the achievment stats to show 77% of players completing the tutorial to 20% of players completing the first boss. The game is too much of a bore for what it's trying to be. The out of place rougelike elements, the awkward camera panning and tight zoom, how slow and unsatisfying simply hitting the ball is.
