I've only played this game for 3+ hours and wow, I sure am glad that I did. It is a great game. It's like playing a table-top naval battle on a table that is endless with beautifully painted miniatures and they move on their own. The table has waves and splashes. The miniatures catch on fire and even sink! Every salvo that you fire is tracked by a computer so the battle is fair. There even is damage control where…

I regret to be the only recent naysayer, but there is nothing in this game to even mildly model how German and British gunnery control operated in 1914. The player receives no rangefinding data before opening fire. RIDICULOUS! The rangefinding in the navies could be iffy for initial fire (especially for the Royal Navy with its short-based rangefinders), but no information, at all, is given to the player/gunnery…
