At first, I thought this was basically a mid NES game made in 2024, and was wondering if that was worth the asking price, but it's even worse than that. The game play is pretty fun, but the art has a lot to be desired. I know it's intended to be in the vein of an 8 bit game, but you can't mask bad art style under the guise of "nes style art". There's too many amateur decisions. If the graphics got an overhaul, this would be go from a decent game to an amazing one, imo.
