Understand the frustration of players who love this universe, but it’s a mistake to write this game off. It has mechanics I find fun levels, skill points, and the ability to switch weapons, where I have them all at my fingertips but can choose freely when and which one I want. The players who are complaining about the AI being problematic are correct. Having played it myself I can see where they are coming from. That being said, take the rest of the negative reviews with a grain of salt. I don't think this would have been seen in as bad of a light if not for all of the discourse around the marketing and execs who don't know how to leave the spotlight. Ultimately this is just a weird game as it kind of sits as an end of an era for Unreal Engine 3 FPS games, with all of that generations faults along with being a late 7th Gen title.
