This is a yes, but only to people who like classic Sierra/Monkey Island style item puzzles AND likes Metroidvanias. If you're not fond of obscure item puzzles and hitting certain dialogue triggers you're not going to have a good time. Visually it looks nice, the sprites are large and animated nicely. It's a Metroidvania, but with all the fun and moon logic of a point-and-click adventure. Also, you can't keep everything in your pockets, so you're forced to build item caches around the castle (warp points). The rest of the game is fine.
