I was expecting a visual novel in a completely familiar form, but it turned out that there is an inventory and we have to use items from it throughout the game, and there are also various mini-games. Well written, nice intriguing story and in ways deserves a thumbs up, but at the end it all falls apart. The game gets janky and buggy, the story doesn't really pay out to the buildup and you end up losing because of some choice that felt unconsequential at the beginning of the game. The ending felt so disappointing that it tips the scale heavy against a game that was otherwise really enjoyable.
