This game realistically will not scare you at all. I am saying that as a coward who gets scared of everything and has to close his eyes during horror games and movies. This is due to the turn based nature and low poly graphics. All that aside if you go into it for other fun, it is a blast. The music, the vibes everything. A very addictive mystery dungeon game, and that's coming from someone who doesn't even play that genre or roguelikes. The Resident Evil ps1 aesthetic drew me in and the looting, seeing all the monsters, survival, and magic system (I see that nod to FF7) kept me hooked. Easy recommend.

While I haven't beaten the game and there are parts I like I can't say I can recommend it part of that is due to artificial difficulty, by that I mean that every time you return to the main hub. you reset to level one. Doesn't matter if you used an item or died you and your stats are reset no matter what. Now if it was just on death that would be fine since it punishes anyone playing way too recklessly, however as…
