Just got my first game clear on the easiest difficulty + all allowed crutches. At first I really did not get this game, I wouldn't even be able to finish the first level consistently. I've very much enjoyed my time with Gunvein!! The production and presentation is excellent, with adrenaline pumping music, satisfying explosions, interesting enemy and bullet pattern design. This is a game where I feel like Steam pass/fail reviews don't really do the game justice. There are actually a lot of things I like about this. Presentation-wise the game looks really slick and controls well. The soundtrack is also worthy of kudos and for me was standout enough to purchase (though weirdly it is not available for purchase on Steam which I always feel is a miss).
