Star Control 2: This game is unbelievably ahead of its time. Try the original first, if you can't handle it get the remake then. At least read the wiki, it is a blast. Star Control 1: This game was made in a different era. Expect to read the instruction manual. -Ignore my playtime, this isn't my original Steam Account, and I don't just play on steam.-

Well, from all the Star Controls, SC2 is the best. A game I had the original from that you could sell the Planet Lander indefinatly to get unlimited Ru's but it got stolen and the SC2 you could download from the net removed that cash cow but I bought the game again because I really love it and am replaying it for the nth time!

Not recommended
Try "Star Control 2 - Ur-Quan Masters HD" before buying this. It is superior in every way. Upgraded resolution and graphics, new starmap giving much more information, full speech from the 3do version and is completely free. It also comes with cheats which is great if you've played the game before and just want to mess around.
