At first, I was really skeptical of this one. They removed a lot of the features of the previous game (Shiren: Tower Of Fortune) and didn't seem to add any new ones, other than quality of life stuff. But it's only after playing a fair bit that it's apparent: it really is the better game. The stuff they removed - particularly the Night mechanic - wasn't making the game more fun. I already own a copy of every EN release of Shiren since the 1995 release, but I couldn't resist buying 5 & 6 on PC apart from switch/PSP. I absolutely LOVE Shiren the Wanderer, and I hope someday they bring the original games to PC as well! I can't wait to play this one for the second time through lol. Verdict: More... MORE. 8.5/10, would mystery dungeon again :D
