100% Worth the buy! Ironically I played these games out of order. But it gives me great appreciation for the first knowing how much love they put into this one, and then into 2! Good story, loveable characters, and an interesting simple yet entertaining elemental battle system. If I had one gripe (and it's a small one), some of the enemy sprites are a little goofy. This is a fun little game for what it is, it's on the easier side but I still enjoyed it. I have some gripes with the game but nothing big enough to really mention. I'll be picking up the second one once it goes back on sale.

I wanted to like this game so bad, but I can't. I can see the vision, and the story was somewhat interesting at times, but even as a user of rpg maker myself and being aware of its limitations, I just could not find much enjoyment in this game. Overall the gameplay doesn't have much depth, and it's missing a lot of QOL features. I will say though that 8-bit adventures 2 is a direct sequel to this, and it's such a…
