I like this game and it's obviously been made by people who know the world of chess. Look. It's basically a chess RPG with the opportunity to learn built into it. It seems to be a project in development and I really like the tweaks that have been brought to it. If you play chess and you want to improve at it then this game could be a portal to better play if used correctly. I'm still learning but I view the AI help as a way to shortcut the learning cycle. Go ahead and make the move you want to make, but before you continue on, see if you can pick the move that the AI thinks is best and ponder about it. Great concept and could be exactly my kind of game. Sadly, the AI is awful, which is a pretty big problem in a chess game. I keep seeing moves from opponents, and sometimes from my own character in certain modes, that make absolutely no sense. Good idea, poor execution. Fix the AI and this could be really good. Right now it is hard to take seriously.
