I just love this game. The game loop is very fun, there are a ton of characters to play and sub-classes to unlock that are fun and offer a little different game play. The recent ability to stack the same item to make it more powerful really opened up this game for me. Review date: 04/10/2026 This is a genuinely very fun game, there are a lot of fun and quirky builds that are possible which is great especially with the new addition of being able to enhance the same item if you wish. You like the sword? Keep buying them over and over again to make it strong, you like the staff that scales with how much gold you have? Keep buying it and make it even more absurd. You want to try a…

i enjoy the game when it works, but the amount of times the game soft locks an hour into a run can make progression a real slog. it's been like this for quite some time, it's a bummer to see it's still present.
