I'm a bit torn to not recommend this, having loved the original Confabulation, but this one simply falls flat as a successor. Although it boasts more puzzles and a bigger map, this follow-up title does little to build upon the previous game and in some areas does worse. A fantastic follow-up to the first Confabulation! There’s really no overlap in the two stories or settings (Homestead leans toward the extraterrestrial, while the original leans toward the demonic), so feel free to start with this newer and more polished game, but do consider the first one if you want a similar experience with a slightly different vibe or if you want to explore more of the Confabulation universe.
