About the game

1923. You owe a gangster money. The answer is buried beneath Devil Reef — if the horrors lurking in the dark don’t claim your mind first. A Lovecraftian co-op roguelite for 1–4 players where your sanity is the real final boss.

SPOILERS**** The core idea is fun and to some degree is executed well however there are many things that hold this rogue-like back: such as arenas being repetitive after some time, weird bugs and enemies sometimes hanging or not responding. I managed to finish the game in around 9-10 runs and felt a bit disappointed by the ending and final boss especially. You have someone like Dagon and you fight him while he is…

Not a bad game per se, but after 2 hours I got bored of the extremely repetitive runs, sudden 15 monster spawn gangbang and uninteresting meta progression. Aiming using the Deck sticks didn't feel comfortable for me.
