Starting from scratch, running a team for a race can be confusing. Choosing the solo career teaches you about how things work, making it far less confusing. The depth of the game is really good and I expect many fascinating days racing.

I would say it was mainly suitable for cycling enthusiasts

After 11 years on the Cyanide engine, PCM25 finally moved to Unreal Engine 5, yet it still feels exactly the same. Same bugs, same issues, poor optimization. Pro Cyclist mode is practically unplayable, with a progression system that removes variety and makes career progression pointless. New engine, same old PCM. Mostly just an updated database with more frustration
