I remember playing this as a child when this was released, so a bit of nostalgia bias might reside in this review. For a PC port, its decent. Maybe its the game itself, but platforming in this game can be difficult. The different boomerangs are always fun to mess around with as well.

A simple, fun collectathon that's good for children. You jump around hitting things with boomerangs with dfferent abilities (flamerangs to burn ice, ice rangs to make platforms on water, electric rangs to activate motors on the maps). There's nothing really wrong with this game but it's a fairly generic collectathon platformer. A lot of the level design isn't great and having to hunt down every last opal can really get tiresome on some of the bigger levels. The game still has some charm and if you're a fan of the original game, this HD PC rerelease runs great, but it's hard for us to recommend this to people who don't already have nostalgia for…
