About the game

A lo-fidelity First Person Snatcher inspired by the immersive sims of yesteryear. Play as Fennel, a knife-wielding swamp devil with an eye for gold and a penchant for violence. Use your tail to toy with your prey: grab and fling objects, climb impossible heights, and knock your enemies off balance.

fun short game, first act feels like a very basic version of gutter world but with a whole bunch more of dialogue and the second and third act are somewhat hit or miss puzzles with a very bizarre ending. i love this saga of games and i cant wait for bruise land to come out

Act 1 was awesome and had silly NPCs, Act 2 was complicated but reading a guide honestly helped improve the experience, but still a wonderfully designed experience that immediatly made me jump into its prequel: Gutter World.

I really wanted to love Brush Burial, and for a little bit I did - the game has a cool visual style, the map for Act 1 is a maze of nonlinear connections that is a joy to explore, especially with the game's unique tail-grappling system, and there's plenty of fun, scrappy combat. The ImSim inspirations really come through in the first half, as you're crowbarring open vents, creeping up on foes, grabbing dropped…
