The moveset editor in this game is what sets it apart to me, particularly when keeping classic-mode restrictions. It's kind of like if you could Toribash customise a Street Fighter character and then take them into Half Sword - you have fixed moves yeah but the dynamic physics and the way animations layer gives you a lot of room to make really cool stuff. Great game, definitely unique in its genre for that reason…

the weapons feel weightless. whether you are using a kanabo or a hatchet you can never push through someone's defense. on top of it all there is very little substance to the game: a repetitive campaign (fighting the same pre-made AI builds one round after another) and then multiplayer... if you aren't into the modding scene or don't have people to play with to keep this fresh, you should avoid.
