About the game

Dealing with the issue of the contemporary refugee crisis while at the same time being deeply rooted in a classical cyberpunk atmosphere à la Blade Runner, NORTH features a dark synthpop soundtrack, a sprawling mega-city and weird monster-like inhabitants.

It´s good. A short little experience (about an hour to 90 minutes max), which seems surreal at first, but in a certain sense becomes very real as you progress. Now I do have to warn you, the game can seem strange and confusing, even some basic familiar things such as an Escape menu are missing, but I am very sure that is exactly the author´s intention for the chosen subject matter. You operate in an unknown world…

I bought this game for the abstract and surreal landscapes, but what you see in the screenshots is basically all you get. The way you progress is somewhat annoying and without a guide, I really don't think I would've finished it. I enjoyed the intro, but after that, it was just kind of a slog. I don't think the game's anywhere near as bad as a lot of people make it out to be, but it's not a good game, either.
