This is a rogue-lite game that has great strategic turn-based combat. There are a variety of builds and each creature has it's own set of unique cards and abilities. The design and balance of the creatures are really well done. One thing that I think has to be added is the ability to bind the right mouse button to "Cancel". Wow this game scratched an itch for a good while. Solid 40 hours of gameplay with two characters but I felt overwhelmed by the learning curve for the third character choice (Chef) and I just couldn't bring myself to deal with the frustration of keeping up with the constant rotating seasonings that he manages. Extremely unbalanced start that is very difficult to learn. While doable the difficulty leap from the regular enemies to the first area boss is huge and feels overwhelming for first timers. I felt at a constant loss as to how to approach this boss and frequently lost at turn 2 or 3 with no idea why.
