Look Outside is a survival horror RPG set in a single apartment building. A mysterious event turns anyone who looks out the window into grotesque monsters, leaving the world in absolute chaos. Scavenge the building to seek food, supplies, and weapons while encountering strange characters.

Francis Coulombe and Eric Shumaker are actual geniuses. What started as a random recommendation I saw on X or somewhere, ended up being one of the best if not the best indie game I ever played, as well as a top tier RPG. So much trial and error to play the game well and you can definitely find yourself stuck with no heals if you do not take the optimal path through the game and especially if you do not look up guides on how to recruit companions early on. Which wouldn't be too much a bad thing, but the combat in this game just isn't very fun on its own to make trial and error i.e. save scumming fun.
