This is one of those games you start and are a bit apprehensive about. It's not a AAA, or a indie studio with 10 veterans, but rather 1 or 2 guys who have made a really nice, diamond in the rough. Vzerthos: The Heir of Thunder is a mixture of isometric RPG and top-down shooter. I like the soundtrack which I assume is a DOOM tribute. Vzerthos is an interesting mixture of top-down shooter and action RPG, but neither the shooter elements nor the RPG elements are really quite there enough, and I think I spent more time beating on walls trying to find secrets than I did with anything else in the game.
