Its one of those games where you can see why its become a classic, even though I am decades late to the party, I still found it a really fun experience and it was well worth finally playing

Purchased last night. Played through the first missions with Avalanche. At this time, I don't understand ANY of the nit-picking, negative reviews. Touch grass homies. Game launches and runs fine with my hacked to s*** Windows 11. The launcher is literally just a box with a play button, options button and exit button, no sign-ins or accounts needed. Controller works. It's still just the original FF7, nothing really…

Get the 2013 port if you can. This one is not worth it. The ingame cheats just feel wrong and ruin the experience. They also broke the game for me many times during my playthrough. This port kept crashing over and over. I got this for free cause I already had the 2013 version. I'll keep playing that instead of this game.
