I wasn't really sure what to expect when I first played this game, going in blind...but after finishing a fullplay thru, I would describe Subsurface Circular as a 3D visual novel. Maybe you might be looking for something more ; this game is a text-based intensive tale of mystery and the train carriage is the back drop of the entire play. It's a charming little visual novel type of thing and I'd love to recommed it but unfortunately, the story and the writing just aren't good enough. Subsurface touches on the standard themes associated with androids (consciousness, free will, replacing human jobs, you name it) and then pretty much goes nowhere with them. It all builds up to a final moral choice but the problem is, the plot is so short and uninspired…
