I gave the first AI: The Somnium Files a hesitant recommend as an overall mediocre visual novel with disastrously weak gameplay and humor, but mostly redeemed by the pretty good story and great lineup of characters. I cannot give nirvanA Intiative the same grace. This is probably the worst visual novel I've read up to this point. While the Zero Escape series gave me an inkling that writer Uchikoshi doesn't know…

Every smart thought about this game has already been said in these reviews, so I'll just add my personal feelings: Mizuki and Aiba are the only reason I wanted to keep playing, everything else is mediocre at best and annoying at worst. It also runs and plays a little clunky. I'm gonna be so real with you and say don't even buy it on a sale unless you're bored, which is a shame since I adored the first game
