If you can forgive some low budget cutscenes, forgettable story, and the lack of keyboard+mouse support, the actual puzzle-platformer gameplay is not bad, I would even say it's above average. It's not a very short game considering its genre, I would say anywhere from 5 to 7 hours. Even though the cutscenes don't look great, the levels are very pretty, the colour palette and beautiful scenery make it a joy to hop…

At its core Elli is a puzzle game that is dressed in platforming. I very much enjoyed playing it all the way through the end which took me a little over 6.5 hours.. The puzzles in the beginning are pretty simple and there is next to no real platforming. But the further you progress into the story the more complex the puzzles get. Towards the end some puzzles span over multiple rooms which made it just the right…

Okay, it is not bad. There are fun variations of gameplay, it would really be a good basis for a sequel or remake. There are many good points in the art direction (except the opening kinematic, please remove it...) and level design is far from bad. Right now, it's a little too uneventful and the world interaction is not very deep. Although character control is good, it's still a bit rigid. It's still really honest…
