The history is about Lucie, a girl who, after waking up in a strange room realises she is stuck in a lucid dream. She encounters evil beings and traps searching for her body while the plot suffers drastic twists. Lucie is an exploration-based horror game that plays on some innate fears and uses known creepypasta stories to increase player immersion; The game is also inspired by well-known horror movies and RPGs.

Lucie seems to be inspired by The Witch's House which is not a bad thing. It is a puzzle-oriented horror game created in RPG-maker. The gameplay mostly consists of text choices and occasional riddles. Most of the things that you do in the game will kill you in a gory way. I personally liked this game, not very much jumpscares are running away moments. Most of the time I choose the option that meant death just because I wanted to know how I'll die. Haven't got scared at all so far, but have had plenty of times where my brain went WTF and got a bit freaked out since I thought I have to run like in some of the other horror rpgs. There were a few audio bugs in this game, for instance when you go to the gasoline room the sound cuts on a few seconds later. I didn't like the beginning deaths especially the one where you KNEW you'd die because it asked "Are you sure you want to open this?"(I liked the deaths after you leave that corridor because they don't feel cheap.)
