I went into GRANDIA expecting an old-school JRPG, but I came away feeling like I had actually gone on an adventure. Overall, I really enjoyed this game! It's a fairly standard JRPG: the protagonist goes on a journey, meets new friends along the way, fights monsters, defeats some bosses, saves the world, etc. The music was excellent, and I really liked the 2D sprite artwork! It's a great game don't get me wrong but it doesn't play well on SteamOS even with all the fixes you would see on Proton.DB the game is pretty much a lagfest so if you're planning on buying this game i would suggest that your handheld is using Windows or at least dual booting into Windows.
