Flight of Nova is a simulator based on newtonian mechanics in which you control spacecraft in the Noren star system. You fly multiple types of spacecraft doing transport and search missions in an environment with realistic aerodynamics and orbital physics.

🚀 This game is basically a space sim with KSP-style realistic physics and orbital mechanics. When even the simplest things like landing, docking, or picking up cargo can be SO CHALLENGING at first, it gives you an equal amount of accomplishment and enjoyment when you finally learn how to do them correctly. I like the idea here, but after playing the demo and seeing that Flight Of Nova has been in EA since May of 2022, I expected there to be more of an actual game here. Don't get me wrong, the flight controls are unimpeachable, and that's why I'm willing to give this a thumbs up. But aside from that, this really feels like a tech demo. There's no career mode. No currency. No penalty for crashing, no reason to worry…

Originally a few years ago it was a nice early access. But now since a very long time there are no automatic controller settings inside the game anymore, despite the game recognizing my controller. Makes it a bit ridiculous for a game that tells you to use the controller. Also setting controls yourself does not make much sense with these elaborate controls. You cannot learn it from the tutorials if the tutorials do…
