Part detective game with bug puns and part third person shooter. Overall a fun game, I liked the characters and story. It would be nice if we could get part 2 but it seems it won't happen, on steam anyway...

Insecticide Part 1 is an okay action, detective game. But what is the story. In the city of Troy it was supposed to be just another night, another simple case for Detective Chrys Liszt and her senior partner Roachy, they were on the case of the mysterious murder of an employee at the soda drink conglomerate Nectarola, a company that has a near monopoly on all of the city. But this was no simple murder as this case…

Extremely rough third-person shooter/adventure game hybrid. The shooting is worse than the puzzles... Most of the time. It's only half of the original DS game and the second half is never gonna come out (you have to watch cutscenes on YouTube to finish the story). Goofy bug puns and a concerningly attractive protagonist isn't enough to save this game.
