About the game

FALLING OUT is a light-hearted roguelite platformer where you take control of an oddball couple who are on a holiday from hell. Work together as you navigate randomly generated temples all whilst dodging traps, slaying enemies and crafting weapons in an attempt to escape before the temple floods.

This game is a good spin on the Splunky formula. It is more approachable. it is still difficult, but mistakes result in lost health rather than instant death. On the downside, when playing solo you have to literally drag/carry your AI partner thru the levels. I wish there was an option to simply not have the other player in solo runs. Local co-op is friendly fire galore and an AI partner serves only as an inefficient projectile to lug around, making solo the only viable option. Wordy intro with a Wario-like protagonist contradictory to his goofball appearance. Gave up after repeat losses to the poorly choreographed second boss fight, which going off achievements was further than 90% of players.
