Quite hard to recommend... For the 1€ price being asked while in sale and if you can embrace the jank I would say it's worth it. Only if you like old school non stop action type of games like Doom or Serious Sam and know that you will have to speedrun and avoid all the ennemies in the later levels. XIBALBA is terribly balanced in later levels it must be a joke, all ennemies are bullet sponges, there are way too many…

I like it, reminds me a lot to Serious Sam but that's a good thing, have an interesting looking using 2D and 3D with the enemies and the levels , I enjoyed very much and for sure the game can improve with the time.

Not recommended
A different setting from the usual and some pretty interesting enemies are ruined by a lighting system that makes you see most things in completely black silhouettes most of the time. As for gameplay, the sponginess of a lot of the enemies is ridiculous it's like most enemies that apear after the first few levels has the health of one of the Doom bosses.
