The King of Fighters XV (KOF15) has solid gameplay improvements over the previous entry (KOF14), but it certainly doesn't come anywhere close to "shattering expectations". That's not to say it isn't a great game, there's just nothing that blew me away - unlike my experience with KOF96/97. If you have a 16:10 monitor, I don’t recommend playing this as it doesn’t properly support 16:10 aspect ratios. Full screen is all warped. You’d have to change your monitor resolution to 16:9, but I don’t want to do that just to play one game. Otherwise, the game itself is fine as a fighting game
