I actually refunded Lies of P at first because I just couldn’t get into it and had no intention of continuing. For some reason, Steam kept my refund pending for almost 24 hours. I ended up canceling it and thought, “Alright, I’ll give it one more chance.” I only had around 40 minutes left before reaching the refund limit. And somehow, in those 40 minutes, the game completely clicked for me. I’m genuinely glad Steam…

i've never gotten tired of coming back to this game and i don't think i ever will. its story, atmosphere and soundtrack are beautiful in such a tragic way that it's hard not to fall in love with them especially after playing the dlc. somehow this game has become a comfort game for me. i eagerly await the sequel

I want to like this game, but it falls into some of the same traps as other 'souls-like' games. They seem to have trouble figuring out what makes something both difficult AND engaging. When it comes to making a boss or enemy difficult they only seem to have two tricks.
