Yet another faithful NES adventure platformer by SEEP. And a very well-made one at that. Not a pushover by any means, but always fair - which wasn´t always the case with games back then : ) I especially appreciate the lack of a timer and not hiding items in walls. Gotta love that! Even the slightly rough translation feels 100% NES authentic and adds to the charm. Those guys know exactly how to make good retro games…

Great 8-bit nostalgia. If I'd been able to play this on my old Apple ][ I'd be a very happy boy. Sadly I couldn't get it to run on my Steam Deck or Steam Machine, despite trying multiple configurations and Proton compatibility settings. I can still run it on my PC, but not the same. It just freezes at the startup page.

Roar of Revenge is what you would expect out of a student as their very first assignment in a "Game Development 101" course rather than a game available for sale. It is painfully easy, basic, and short that even writing a review on it is hard because there just isn't anything interesting in the game to discuss. Go play literally any other 2D action platformer.
