This game is so incredible man. Super fun gameplay, amazing world building and story, and characters that are easy to get attached to. This game is genuinely beautiful and I recommend it to anyone that is even slightly interested in it. If you ever played Castle Crashers, PLAY THIS GAME RIGHT NOW!!

This game has been in my periphery ever since my buddy showed me the boss fight theme for the Underking. I wasn't really into side-scrolling beat 'em ups (save for River City Girls). I didn't really grow up with any games like this, so I guess the genre just passed me by. Absolum has changed all of that. This game is a must play and it was well worth the blue ribbon.

I tried to give this game a fair shot. The art, presentation, polish, and quality is great. I don't like the combat, it's clunky and sits in-between side scroller and 3D in a bad way. If they committed to either full 3D or 2D it would be much better IMO.
