This was an awesome new addition to the Detective Grimoire series of games. A Pearl In The Sea Mermaid's Mask is the fourth installment of the Detective Grimoire series and the one I have wishlisted for a long time, maybe even since 2023. Meh on all fronts. Story is some mundane mystical-not-mystical detective or whatever. Puzzles are illogical bullshit, which better be stripped from the game altogether. Detective parts with deductions necessarily involve brute forcing every option. What do they wanted to make I don't know, in actuality it is some human-made slop.
